2012 North Branford Winter League registration is now open until December 28th-

Registration is now closed.  We will form teams and announce rosters before the first games on Jan 10th.  We will have games Tuesday nights between 9:00-10:30 pm (3 fields).  Games will start on January 10th and the season will run for 10 weeks.

Teams will be determined in early January by league organizers.  After registration, check back here towards the end of the registration period to confirm your registration and payment status.

The cost of this league in 2012 will be $93, plus $10 for non-USA Ultimate members to cover player liability insurance.  If you pay your 2012 USAU dues in January, you will be refunded your $10 one-time fee.

League Description

The North Branford Indoor Winter League now in its 11th season, and has grown to be a popular and competitive league.  Games are held at the CT Sportsplex in North Branford, an indoor artificial turf facility with 4 fields with a modern turf type that features a base layer of brown pellets (dirt), and individual blades of "turf."  Normal outdoor cleats can be worn on these fields.  The location is off Rt. 80, which is a few short minutes from I-91.  As a result, this league draws dedicated players from a wide area.

The fields are approximately 50 yards by 30 yards, so we play 5 v 5, with a 4:1 or 3:2 gender ratio.

The league is a draft league, where players register individually and balanced teams are created by the club organizers.  Players of all experience levels are welcome. This league is open to players ages 18 and over.

We do not pair people together as "baggage" in North Branford, because the entire league plays on the same nights at the same location.
